E. Most LCD projectors have filters and thermal centers that help prevent them from overheating if the filter gets dirty or clogged the projector can overheat and automatically turn off the video output to protect his internal components but the audio which probably runs separately will continue playing just fine and since it happened again with a different laptop that rules out laptops as issue and the cables as the issue the common factor is the projector and the time-based failures which do suggest overheating so again not cable or signal issues.
