In the inter-AS MPLS L3VPN Option B solution, the Route Target (RT) filtering function must be disabled on the ASBRs. Otherwise, VPNv4 routes cannot be transmitted properly between ASBRs because ASBRs need to exchange all VPNv4 routes without filtering by RT. Disabling RT filtering ensures that ASBRs can store and advertise all VPNv4 routes required for inter-AS connectivity
A, By default, a PE store only de VPN router that match the vpn targets of its local vpn instances. therefore, ASBRs can be cofigured not to filter route based on RTs (undo policy vpn-target)
