The Sprint is already in progress.
The team is reviewing and adjusting their Sprint Backlog.
This is not Sprint Planning or Retrospective—it’s Daily Scrum.
Daily Scrum is the event where the Development Team inspects progress and adjusts their plan to meet the Sprint Goal.
If the team realizes they’ve over-committed, they can reorganize tasks, re-prioritize, or seek help—but not change the Sprint scope without involving the Product Owner.
In Scrum, Developers own the Sprint Backlog and are responsible for adjusting it during the Sprint.
The Product Owner is consulted to help re-prioritize or clarify items if needed.
The Scrum Master facilitates but does not manage work adjustments.
Stakeholders are not part of the Scrum Team and do not participate in Sprint Backlog adjustments.
