Answer is correct. Calc 2 first to truncate to the first day of the last year's month (month start) and then Calc 1 for today's date last year (month to date end). This will correctly capture all dates from the start of the month last year up to the same day last year, giving you prior year MTD values

It is somehow ambiguous, but the request is for previous year not current
