Pre-consumer recycled content comes from scraps, trimmings, and other by-products generated before a product reaches consumers. These materials are collected during manufacturing and reprocessed into new products instead of being discarded.
This differs from post-consumer recycled content (C), which comes from products used and discarded by households or businesses.
